Did you know that even in the most heated battles during the Civil War, there are recorded stories of Freemasons who held true to their Masonic obligations, even while caring for brothers who may have been on the opposing side of battle? During the four years of the Civil War, Freemasons were among the thousands of Union and Confederate soldiers who fought against each other. On Tuesday, April 18th, beginning at 7:00pm, PTF United Lodge is pleased to welcome back Brother Rick Weil, from Zephyr Lodge No. 198, who will be providing us a fascinating look at Freemasonry during the Civil War with his presentation on The Lost Apron of Gettysburg and The Surrender at Appomattox. This educational series is open to all, and we hope that you will join us for an enjoyable evening of education with some fun and fellowship to follow!
